I struggle with insomnia especially when I am stressed! I believe that is probably the problem all by itself. Stress and depression can affect all of your body systems. It can make you feel physical pain, headaches, dizziness...lots of stuff. Try doing some relaxation things before you go to bed. Exercise relieves stress, deep breathing... Try not to let yourself worry about tomorrow...It will still be there when you wake up in the morning. With a good night's sleep you will be able to deal with it much better.

If it is possible you should speak with your doctor about this. There is a lot of available treatments to help you feel better all the way around.
References :
Have struggled with anxiety and depression for years!

Brain problems that cause sleeping problems?
Do brain tumours or brain disease cause you not to sleep? I have had trouble sleeping for two years and it has gotten worse. I just moved into a city I hate and I'm under stress and I have sleeping problems and it makes it worse. The last two nights my head has felt weird and my body is numb. I am tired but not tired at the same time. I am under huge amounts of depression and stress. And I fear cancer or death. I used to feel relaxed when I went to bed. Now I feel sick and depressed and I can't relax. And when I do sleep it's very light and I wake up just as tired.

I am 16 by the way.

Can a serious brain problem be causing this? I know it's a physical condition because this is not a normal mental sleeping disorder.
