i was prescribed seroquil for a bipolar disordar and 3 people in my family have diabetes am i at risk togetit?

I have struggled with something kind of like bipolar disorder. God has helped me through it. I gave my life to Jesus a few years ago and I have peace no matter what the circumstances and a close relationship with God now. Just check up with your doctor like you should, and try not to worry so much about the diabetes thing. You may want to research a safer drug to take. God bless you.

Keep your weight at lowest for age/height to reduce chances.

Yes, Seroquel and most drugs for bipolar have the tendency to cause diabetes, have your doctor check for diabetes at least one or twice a year.
