A Type 1 diabetic for 39 years, Doretta is a Certified Fitness Trainer, who lives in Atlanta. She uses an insulin pump and a continuous glucose monitoring system to control her diabetes. She primarily focuses her efforts on encouraging and training those who have diabetes. Doretta began strength training with a trainer 8 years ago and quickly noticed how much strength training helped with her diabetes management, as well as her overall health.
