A Struggle With Bipolar Disorder

Note: This is my view and my opinions regarding this chapter in my life. I miss my sister incredibly and would do anything to change how things are. She knows how much I love her.

To any family members who would like to complain about this video: because you would rather help aid the STIGMA attached to this disorder, please educate yourself for once or go back and bury your head in the sand. Your actions are reinforcing her SELF-STIGMA. Instead of thinking about YOUR EGO, start thinking about her LIFE!

Bipolar doesn’t just go away. It is treated and managed just like ANY OTHER ILLNESS like diabetes, etc. An accepting support network is a big key factor regarding anyone’s success with managing bipolar. People who would “like” to say they care should all be in the same boat. If all are floating around the boat and are not working together, we all drown. Meaning a “family” ends up being ripped apart because EGO’s are used instead of our HEARTS.

Think before you speak. Think before you act. Families should always pull together, not push each other away or make some members feel less loved or needed.

And we wonder why society is so messed up, it starts at HOME.
