for the people that have high blood pressure and diabetes what would be a good exercise for them?

I have been losing weight but I have alot of fat sagging what kind of excercise should I use to help get rid of the fat. I have high blood presure and diabetes as well as high cholesteral what should I do?

WALKING!!! Start with a few blocks as rapidly as you can. Add a block or 5 minutes per week.

Get a pedometer and count your steps!!

When you get to walking for an hour every day as fast as you can, your blood pressure should be better, glucose control easier and cholesterol down to normals.

My docs however, want my bp to be 115/50 which is close to happening! They seem to think this is optimum for diabetic!! Have to walk fast to stay warm enough to do the hour outdoors!!

Start riding a bicycle. Does wonders for physical and mental health. Long, slow cruises on a hybrid or "comfort" bike.

make sure you are also eating a healthy diet your lipids are very important. Generally someone with diabetes you are good, but lower would be better. If you start walking make sure that you have your feet checked. Swimming is a great exercise but not always the easiest to get to do. Riding a bike is good as so is walking. But make sure that you push yourself to you are kinda out of breath. Easier than that and you won’t get any benefits. Also make sure you work out 150 minutes a week or at least 30 minutes for 5 days. New studies have been showing great results from weight lifting also for diabetics.

With all that going for you, I would suggest seeing an exercise therapist to help set up something that is attainable and can help you.
